About XTRA Lease
At XTRA Lease, we rent and lease over-the-road semi-trailers. Our customers count on us for well-built, tough trailers on short notice. They also count on us to expertly maintain those trailers and provide value-added services, many of which are unique in our industry.
We are the dominant provider of semi-trailers in North America with a fleet of 85,000 trailers. XTRA has about 450 employees, with over 60 branch locations nationwide and three locations in Canada.
We were founded in 1957 and have deep roots in many facets of the transportation industry. We're part of Berkshire Hathaway (since 2001), Warren Buffett's group of companies, which provides our customers and employees unsurpassed financial stability and security.
